FBI: Case Turns to Investigation of Act of Terrorism After Evidence Discovered

The FBI announced Friday December 4, 2015 that they will be investigating the December 2, 2015 deadly shootings in San Bernardino, California, as an “act of terrorism” based on evidence they recovered.

The FBI announced today that there are cellphone connections between the San Bernardino mass murder shooters. Two cellphones were found near the crime scene in a nearby trash can at the rented home of Syed Rizwan Farook and his wife Tashfeen Malik.

The FBI now says there are a number of pieces of evidence that have pushed the case off the cliff to connect the shooting as an act of terrorism.

The couple were overseas in 2013, but FBI David Bowdich, Assistant Director of the Los Angeles office of the FBI, said he did not yet know whether preparation for terror acts by the killers took place at that time.

Media repeatedly question David Bowdich about the release of the crime scene where media were allowed to trample through the rented apartment of Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik.
