Four New Jersey High School After Chatting on Facebook About Blowing Up School

Charged with Terroristic Threatening
Four New Jersey high school students (three girls and a boy) have been arrested after allegedly making threats over the Internet to blow up their school on January 12. The students, age 16 and 17, were discussing ways to turn on gas valves to cause a release of gas and a gas explosion.

Belleville High School in Belleville New Jersey was evacuated and searched by Essex County Sheriff’s Bomb Squad. The students said they were surprised at the reaction of authorities.
