A witness in Karachi, Pakistan captured video of a bombing on their cell phone. Smoke can be seen billowing from the explosion site. A suicide motorcycle bomber blew up a bus packed with Shi’ite Muslim worshippers in Karachi. A second bomb exploded at the entrance to the emergency room of the hospital where the bus casualties of Shi’ite Muslims were being treated. The second bomb was placed in or near an ambulance.

Some sources originally thought the first blast came from a bomb onboard the bus.

Violence began on January 29, when some activists of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) clashed with those of the Awami National Party (ANP), and has engulfed the whole of country’s financial capital.
