A Russian-designed Grad that was fired from beyond Jordan’s borders damaged a refrigerated warehouse a northern outskirt region of Aqaba, Jordan. Israeli news media reported that two rockets hit Aqaba and Israel’s nearby port of Eilat. No deaths or injuries were reported.
The incident occurred after Israel issued an “urgent” warning for its citizens to leave Egypt’s nearby Sinai Peninsula immediately, citing “concrete evidence of an expected terrorist attempt to kidnap Israelis in Sinai.”

THU JAN 14, 2010 — Members of an Israeli embassy convoy escaped injuries when two roadside bombs detonated while the convoy was traversing from Amman toward the Allenby bridge crossing.
Terrorist spotters? … al Qaeda or Hamas spotters appear to have discovered the convoy’s regular route to the international crossing over the Jordan River. Amman, Jordan has been on high terror alert

JAN 05 2010 — US intelligence sources named the suicide bomber who killed seven CIA agents and a Jordanian intelligence officer at a secret CIA facility at Forward Operation Base Chapman in Afghanistan on Dec. 30, 2009 as Humam Khalil Abu-Mulal al-Balawi, 36, a Jordanian medical doctor.
