Reported capture of Taliban Commander Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar


The Taliban’s top military commander Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, the No.2 behind Afghan Taliban founder Mullah Mohammad Omar and a close associate of Osama bin Laden, was captured in the southern Pakistani port city of Karachi. He was arrested in a joint CIA-Pakistani operation in Pakistan.

Baradar was held 10 days ago with the assistance of the United States and ‘was talking’ to his interrogators.

India Civil Aviation Ministry on Extra Alert for Hijacker Linked to Al-Qaeda or Lashkar-e-Taiba


Reports coming from India that Pakistan-based terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and/or Al-Qaeda is preparing for terror attacks or hijackings using paragliders.

High alert from India on its airports and airlines following inputs of possible hijacking of Air India or Indian Airlines flights, especially in the SAARC region (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka).

LeT have allegedly carried out major attacks on India before, including the ten coordinated shooting and bombing attacks across Mumbai on November 26, 2008.

Three Killed, 20 Injured Salarzai District in Northwest Pakistan


A roadside bomb killed two anti-Taliban tribal elders and a woman travelling on a bus Thursday in in Salarzai district in the tribal region of Bajaur in northwest Pakistan. At least 20 passengers were injured in the blast of the IED.

U.S. Drone Fires 2 Missiles in North Waziristan, Kills at Least 4 Militants


A U.S. drone killed four militants Sunday after it fired two missiles into a compound in Miranshah, located in a lawless tribal region of North Waziristan in northwest Pakistan. The drone was the sixth attack in the area since the new year 2010.

CIA Bomber Humam Khalil Abu Mulal al-Balawi Call for Revenge from the Grave


Jordanian doctor Humam Khalil Abu Mulal al-Balawi, who killed seven CIA employees in a suicide attack in Afghanistan, said in posthumous video clips broadcast Saturday that all jihadists must attack U.S. targets to avenge the death of Pakistani Taliban chief Baitullah Mehsud.

Defne Bayrak, Proud of Husband CIA Bomber Humam Khalil Abu-Mulal al-Balawi


Defne Bayrak, the wife of double agent Humam Khalil Abu-Mulal al-Balawi, who killed seven CIA officers in a suicide attack at FOB Chapman, Afghanistan, said on Thursday that her husband regarded the United States as an enemy and she was proud of his mission.

“I am proud of my husband. He has carried out a very important mission in such a war”
– Defne Bayrak, who now lives in Istanbul

Humam Khalil Abu-Mulal al-Balawi blew himself up inside a gym in Forward Operating base Chapman in Khost province in southeast Pakistan.

Deadliest UAV missile strike since the suicide bombing at FOB Chapman in Afghanistan that killed eight people — including seven CIA agents: 20 to 25 killed in the Village of Sanzalai, Pakistan where a base is located for the Taliban network run by Sirajuddin Haqqani. Chicago Travel Agent and 2nd Terror Suspect Had Advanced Knowledge of Mumbai, India Attack


Chicago travel agent Tahawwur Hussain Rana Rana and terror suspect David Headley, 49, had advance knowledge of last year’s deadly three-day attack on Mumbai, India, according to newly filed documents by federal prosecutors in Chicago.

Tahawwur Hussain Rana Rana is heard on a secret tape recording admitting that he knew Pakistani terrorists were going to assault hotels and public buildings according to the government. The FBI were following the men through the summer months 2009.
