Collen R. LaRose ‘Jihad Jane’ Charged with Conspiracy to Provide Material Support to Terrorists

Colleen R. LaRose, a resident of Pennsylvania, was charged with conspiracy to provide material support to terrorists, conspiracy to kill in a foreign country, making false statements to a government official, and attempted identity theft, according to the indictment, unsealed Monday.

Also known as ‘Jihad Jane’ or “JihadJane” (a YouTube user name that is suspended) was allegedly looking to kill Lars Vilks — the artist who drew one of the controversial Prophet Muhammad cartoons.

‘Jihad Jane’ was also know to authorities as “Fatima LaRose.”
