Chechen Soldiers Take Down the Ukraine Flag and Raise a Russian Flag in Gostomel, Ukraine

Report on Twitter indicates that soldiers of the Federal Service for the National Guard of the Republic of Chechnya were located on the territory of the 4th Brigade of operational facilities of the 4th Brigade of Ukraine in Gostomel. Chechen soldiers were shown taking down the Ukrainian flag and raising the flag of Russia in its place. According to The Sunday Times (UK), Chechen warlord Ramzan Kadyrov promised shock troops for the Ukraine invasion, and video showed Muslim fighters standing in close-positioned ranks in a central square and crying in unison: “Allahu Akbar!”

Also, the first flags with the image of Akhmat-Khadzhi Kadyrov were installed on Ukrainian soil (Google Images: Akhmat-Khadzhi Kadyrov flag).

The Chechen Republic is a constituent republic of Russia, about 800 miles southeast of Kyiv, and situated in the North Caucasus in Eastern Europe, close to the Caspian Sea.

The 4th Brigade was reportedly involved in fighting against Russian troops in the Battle for Antonov Airport on February 24, 2022, during the Russian invasion of Ukraine. After a day of fighting, the 4th Brigade recaptured the airport from Russian forces. The videos below were posted on February 26, 2022, but it is unknown when the video was documenting events.
