Erica Gandara, Guadalupe’s Last Police Officer in the Chihuahua State of Mexico, Is Missing

Erica Gandara, the last remaining police officer in the Mexican border town of Guadalupe has disappeared. Gandara continued to serve as a police officer after other police officers deserted or resigned.

Erica Gandara, the last remaining police officer in the Mexican border town of Guadalupe has disappeared, and has not been seen since December 23, 2010. Officials in northern Chihuahua state said Tuesday they have started a search for Gandara.

Guadalupe is a city in the northern Mexican state of Chihuahua. As of 2005, the town had a total population of 4,647. Kidnapping has not been ruled out, but Erica Gandara’s family has not been contact by any offenders.
